there are hundreds and hundreds of permitted extra-curricular activities for jw's to enjoy.
activities that have nothing to do with religion or worship where jw's can really have a ball!.
so, for all of you people who sometimes wonder if you should perhaps go back, lets all list the permitted fun things that any witness can do in his / her spare time.. i'll get the ball rolling:.
At get togethers my brother in law used get everyone to play Bible Charades or Sing along to Kingdom songs. Now isn't that just special everyone. But you had to know my brother in law. He was the one that would physically abuse his kids but put in pioneer hours in the service.

today, some friends told me that something historic happened this past week.while they were watching the today show(i think) they saw a new commercial from the society.
they were amazed that the society would put on a commercial.

I will try and find this article I read but the fellow that wrote it also mentioned that MLM schemes are built that they will eventually collapse because it will not be able to support the amount of people at the bottom.

Where's the hot babe??? About the rebound thing it all has happened to us in some degree's more or less so don't think its just you. I blame it all on the controlling aspects of the religion to not allow us to make decisions for ourselves.

I think its what you call damage control. I like how they like to say how the worldly media is Satan's organization and now that they need them its a different story. Anyway the borg must be getting real desperate to stoop to such levels as getting in to bed with Satan the Devil.

Yes I was involved with Amway some 20 years ago and they use much the same tactics as the Dubs. They use cult type of mind control tactics. I have read a lot on the internet on Amway. One thing they done't tell you when you get involved is the success rate or those that make money is about .01% of all distributors. You have as much chance at making money with them as you do of winning the lottery.
